The Content Model
his structure is designed to cope with encapsulating existing and new databases, both conventional and multimedia ones. The Content Model is logically divided into three parts:
- The Essential Content Model which is always consulted using conventional SQL and corresponds to a conventional Data Dictionary
- The Adaptation Content Model which is required only for databases whose classes are adaptable, i.e. the class attributes may vary depending on parameters which vary with users. The Adaptation Content Model represents constraints on the class attributes.
- The Accidental Content Model, which models multilingual and multimedia information, complementary to the Essential Content Model.
