 lcatel Siette was the coordinator of the project and was also responsible for the project management activities (WP8). Alcatel Siette was responsible for activities in WP1, dealing in particular with WP1.3 'Multimedia information structuring'.
Alcatel Siette contributed in the development of the informative control system devised in WP2. Based on the traditional competence in the Telecommunications domain, Alcatel Siette carried out a significant part of WP3, as concerned the communications means selection and analysis, the solution of interoperability problems, the setting-up of the communication facilities for the italian field trial.
Alcatel Siette was also responsible for WP5, as concerned the integration and the functional testing of the whole system and contributed to the evaluation of the experimentation results in the frame of WP6, and to exploitation and dissemination activities in the frame of WP7.
Finally Alcatel Siette supported the system integration and field demonstration in Rome in the frame of WP9.
