Web distributed intelligence
Intelligence is becoming a distributed functionality in the Web itself, in the applications that are being implemented on the Web, and in the environment where people are carrying out their activities. This development it will have an important impact on the structuring of information, communication and related services and applications and on how people will interact with them. Moreover and more interestingly, it may create new forms of social aggregation and exchange (see e.g. the emergence of the Web 2.0) and will change the way how people, including people with activity limitations, access information, communicate and control their environment.
Within the context of Web, the word intelligence is often connected with the visions of Semantic Web and Web 2.0. The e-Inclusion Lab investigates on the possible roles and convergence of Web 2.0 and Semantic Web in favoring e-Inclusion.
